Getting outside this Winter❄️

Getting outside this Winter❄️

Getting outside in the summer doesn't seem that hard to do; there are many things to do, but it is a little hard to do when it comes to getting outside in the Winter. It can be hard to motivate yourself to get outdoors, from the bitter cold wind to snow and ice on the ground. So here are five things you can do to get yourself outside!

1- Snowshoeing is a great activity to get you outside. From snowshoeing on groomed trails to exploring the backcountry, you can go anywhere in the snow to find an adventure.
2- Ice Skating is a perfect way to get the family or a large group of friends out this Winter. From ice skating on groomed ice rinks to even playing pond hockey.

3- Walking around your neighbourhood. Something so simple to get you outside and move your body is a great way to walk with friends or listen to your favourite music or podcast.

4- Snowboarding & Skiing is one of the many activities with friends or family. Get out to your nearest mountain to go skiing or snowboarding, and if you don't have the equipment, I'm sure you can easily rent the gear.

5- Sledding is a fun activity you can do with friends and family while making fun memories. Sledding is one of the easiest things you can do to move your body while having a good time!

There are many benefits to getting outside and moving your body more; it will improve your daily life from physical health to your mental health. Even if your day is jammed packed, walking to the post box or down the street to help get your body moving and if you've got slower days heading out for a 30-minute walk can help in all ways. Don't forget always to wear the warm Winter while going outside.
